Case study · Residential renovation
Cortizo 4200 sliding doors, COR 60 tilt-and-turn windows and a framed shower screen, for the renovation of a sea-view studio on the Côte d’Azur.
01 - The project
In a compact studio facing the Mediterranean, every opening counts: the balcony doors bring in the light and the sea view, and the windows have to perform as well as they look.
GLL Materials supplied Cortizo 4200 sliding doors onto the balcony, Cortizo COR 60 tilt-and-turn windows and a framed shower screen for the bathroom - three solutions coordinated as a single package.

02 - The sliding doors
A highly versatile inline sliding system, with straight or curved lines, flush or overlapping sashes and a range of frames for each configuration. Slim sashes keep the view wide, and the flush version can slide fully into the wall as a pocket door.

03 - The windows
A 60 mm casement system with 24 mm polyamide thermal break strips, offering outstanding thermal and acoustic comfort - with sound reduction of up to 48 dB. Specified here as tilt-and-turn windows.

04 - The bathroom
In the bathroom, a framed walk-in shower screen closes off the shower without closing the room. Its slim gold-finish profile picks up the brassware and the ceiling light, so the glass reads as part of the design rather than an addition.
Clear glass keeps the small space open and bright, and the full-height screen lets the seamless wall and floor finish run through uninterrupted.
