Who we are

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to send us, through the project enquiry form or by email:

• Identity and contact details: name, company, email address, telephone number
• Project information: location, project type and stage, solutions required and your message
• Files you attach, such as plans, drawings, specifications or photos
• Anonymous, aggregated visit statistics (see “Cookies and statistics” below)

Why we use it

We use your details to answer your enquiry, prepare proposals and quotations, and manage any resulting business relationship. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). We never sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who processes it

Your data is handled by GLL Materials and by the following service providers acting on our behalf:

• Netlify, Inc. — website hosting and processing of form submissions
• Google (Google Workspace) — business email
• Cloudflare, Inc. — privacy-friendly, cookie-free visitor statistics

International transfers

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers take place under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange. If the enquiry leads to a contract, related records are kept for as long as required by accounting and legal obligations.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, or request a copy in a portable format, by writing to hello@gllmaterials.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro) or the authority of your country of residence.

Cookies and statistics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own website. Visitor statistics are collected in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you. Your browser only remembers, for the current visit, that the opening animation has already played; this contains no personal data.

We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
